10 weeks

Baby boy has so many nicknames!! Nate, Nathan, Natie Man, Mr. Magoo, fart sack Magee, Angel face, Angel bear... And my love.

We have established a bedtime routine. Nate goes down between 10pm and 11pm most nights.
At 9:30 we start winding down with a bottle of 3 to 5 oz depending on the last time he ate. Then we cuddle for a bit, watch about 5 minutes of the baby channel and put on his PJ's and a new diaper while Daddy gets his bed ready. Then he's swaddled and I rock him until he's really asleep. Anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. I love this time. Soon he won't need to be swaddled to sleep, but I equate his excellent sleeping patterns to being swaddled at night.
With this routine he wakes to eat anywhere between 5:30am to 7am.

The other day he was napping in my arms and fell asleep holing both my hands. <3 <3 <3 Melts my heart!

Aunt Jessi came to visit from Dubai!!! So excited to see her. We have a sushi date on Sunday. She's here until mid-August and I need to soak up every second of this world traveler before she heads off on another adventure!

All dressed up to meet some of Mommy and Daddy's friends! We went to our friends Beth and Taylor's house for dinner last week. Nate was the youngest little one there but only by a few months. Our friends Nick and Barbara were there with their little ones and their youngest is 5 months. She was so smiley!! Can't wait for Nate to be less stingy!!! We had the best time catching up with these beautiful families!

Anybody remember these shoes?? They are still too big, but I thought why not?? We bought them Months ago! :)

Tummy time with his big brother Murphy close by. Murphy has been excellent with Nate! He was a little mopey at first since he wasn't getting as much attention.. But he really seems to be adjusting. And has taken to lying next to Nate to guard him. Too cute!!

Went over to Aunt Ember and Uncle Alt's house to play with super cousin Luka!! Had the best time. We laughed so much at these little boys! Luka wanted to touch Nate so badly!! Finally he settled for a hand hold before he went for Nate's face. I was no help because I couldn't stop laughing. Ember was right there pulling her son's hands away.

We also tried out Luka's bumbo. Not quite ready for it yet... But he's getting close! He holds his head up well, but doesn't have complete control.

Thanks for a great time, Em!! As always! We realized or maybe it was just brought to my attention that Nate, Reagan and Luka will all be in the same grade for school. I think that's so cool!

On Monday Nate got all dressed up for his 1st trip to Neiman Marcus. Mom and I took him. He did great! We are at the Zodiac Room and he cooed in his car seat and fell asleep while we ate.

Neiman's is a family tradition around here. Gma would take me just liked Mom's Ganny took her.

And our wonderful friend and personal shopper Andreea gave Nate the most wonderful Sterling Silver airplane piggy bank. Already has 17 cents in it. :)

The 22nd would have been Gpa's 85th birthday. Miss them both. So grateful that they are celebrating in heaven together.

He slept face down on my chest like he used to when he was 1 week old. I loved every second!

On Wednesday night, we went to the Ranger Game. Glammye and GDaddy watched Nate. We had a great time and are so grateful for a night out. We brought home a winner!!!

They have Gma's name on the "Wall of Fame" for season ticket holders. Everything about the ball park makes me think of her. I've been under ground and on the field with her. Miss her.

Still a restless sleeper. Think we've got a tosser/turner on our hands
Eating mostly formula with 1 bottle of breast milk a day
Loves his play mat
Getting really strong at tummy time by pushing up on his elbows
Still has clogged tear duct on right eye
More smilie but still rare
Loves sleeping in our arms just as much as we love him in our arms
Hmmmmmm... So happy!
